Chairman's Message

Welcome message from WUAVF Chairman

With great enthusiasm and joy I would like to express my satisfaction for the establishment of the WORLD UAV FEDERATION - Hellenic Chapter in Athens-Greece and pleased to welcome all UAV professionals and enthusiasts that wish to join our first European Chapter being members of our constantly expanding community.

One of the earliest trading routes in history, and the one which had the greatest impact on humanity, the Silk Road is one of the strongest cultural connections between China and Greece. China and Greece were connected by the Silk Road for centuries; Today the China-proposed “One Belt One Road” initiative is providing new opportunities for the two countries.

WORLD UAV FEDERATION is committed to promoting the development of UAV industry and technology worldwide and has already established certain professional and ethical standards. It is my pleasure to appoint Mr. John Dagklis as the President of WUAVF Hellas with whom I have worked closely for a number of years within the security industry. He has my full support as a detail-oriented professional with integrity, realistic vision and great leadership skills. I am rather sure he will make every endeavour to facilitate further development of UAS sector in Greece and southern Europe.

It is my conviction, that Greece will embrace this initiative and will pave ways for the initiation of new UAV projects in close partnership with the WORLD UAV FEDERATION.
